Dr Paul McKeown receives President's Chain of Office - 12th April
Dr Paul McKeown was handed the IMO Presidential chain of office by outgoing President Dr Ronan Boland this afternoon in Killarney as part of the Opening Session at the 2012 AGM.
Dr McKeown is a Consultant in Public Health Medicine and a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology and Public Health at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In 2001 he was appointed to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre in Dublin as a Consultant Public Health Specialist, which is Ireland's specialist agency for the surveillance of communicable diseases.
