Rural Practice and STCs now in Place
New STCs
- For the 24 Hour blood pressure monitoring and LARC STCs the PCRS are currently finalising the codes and claiming system for these. Any procedures carried out from 6th May 2016 will be paid and can be claimed for retrospectively once the codes and claiming procedure are in place. The new STCs will apply to all GMS General Practitioners.
Existing STCs
- The increased rates for bladder catherisation and suturing will also apply from 6th May 2016. The new rates will apply to all GMS General Practitioners.
Rural Practice
- For those who are entitled to the Rural Practice Support Framework they will receive correspondence from the HSE in the first week in June. The payments provided for in this allowance are paid quarterly in arrears, and the first payment is expected on the 15th July.
