Further to previous communications the final element of the reversal of the 2009 FEMPI cuts is due to come into effect with an effective date of 1^st July 2022. As per the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act, this impacts those on a salary of €150,000 or more.

 

The IMO has contacted the Department of Health and received confirmation that the revised pay scales are being finalised and will be published shortly. This will mean that you will not receive the revised salary as of yet, but you will receive arrears in due course as this salary is due from 1^st July.

 

We will circulate a copy of the pay scales as soon as they are published.
