The IMO continues to engage with the HSE on foot of the cyber-attack on the HSE’s IT systems.
 

In respect of payroll we have been advised as follows:
 

• HSE payroll system has been prioritized for assessment as part of the response to the cyber-attack.
• While the payroll system continues to be assessed, contingency arrangements are being worked on by the HSE to mitigate the risk to payments due to staff this week.
• It is too early to say, at this point, whether the contingencies will need to be implemented.
