The most recent figures for European Working Time Directive compliance – relating to November 2017 – can be viewed here.

The figures are divided into the Acute Sector, Mental Health Services and Other Agencies.

When viewing the figures it is worth noting that returns were not received from the following:

Children’s’ University Hospital Temple Street, Naas Hospital, South Infirmary / Victoria University Hospital, Roscommon University Hospital, Letterkenny University Hospital, Longford Westmeath Mental Health Service, Midwest Mental Health Service, National Drug Treatment Centre, Dublin North Mental Health Service.

The figures, as presented, show that, at end November 2017, compliance with a 24 hour maximum shift is at 98%, while compliance with an averaged 48 hour working week is at 84%.
